I have been reading a lot of spiritual books lately. And I can’t tell you how fulfilled and happy this has made me. If there is one thing I am beginning to realise, it’s that living a life that is aligned with spirituality can actually be really exciting. When you surrender to the fact that the universe is on your side, and you never have to solve problems on your own again, it is comforting, and it makes you look at your life, and the world, much differently.
The universe is always supporting what is of the highest good for you, and it will never give you anything that you cannot handle. Again, this is comforting, and can give you a sense of confidence moving forward… through healing, and beyond.
When I say that living a spiritual life can be exciting, I think the main reason for this is that it helps you to see that the possibilities for your future are limitless. When you live a spiritual life, everything that you have ever desired to feel, becomes possible. Healing your past becomes possible, and embracing an incredible future becomes possible, too.
I truly do believe that we can co-create our dream life. The only things that are stopping us from doing this, are our old, outdated stories and of course, fear. But when you do the work to heal those old stories, and when you do the work to transform fear into faith and love, anything is possible.
How do I heal these old stories and past wounds? How do I move away from fear, and towards faith and love? The trick is to step back, and surrender, and let the universe do its thing. You will be presented with universal assignments, in the form of a person or situation…. And all you need to do is be willing to show up for these assignments. Show the universe that you are ready for healing and ready for freedom from fear.
Recognise that if you are presented with a universal assignment (pain or an uncomfortable situation), and you don’t accept it now… it will show up again and again in your life until you do accept it, heal and then move onward and upwards. When you do find within yourself, the strength to acknowledge and face your assignment… be proud of yourself for this. Remember, the universe will not give you something that you cannot handle. So, face it, and know that healing will occur…. Just surrender it to the power of the universe.
The act of surrender will give you the power, to face anything.
Aside from the realisation that the spiritual path can be exciting, I have also realised, it can be fun! And filled with joy. Especially as now I am really leaning into my manifestation practice, I am seeing that life can be filled with hope, love and joy. As the wise man says, its not the about the destination, but the journey. I don’t have to have everything I desire in life, but what matters is that the process of getting there, can be fun and exciting.
And one last thing, I have started talking more to the people in my life, about my manifestation practice and my spiritual beliefs. And this enriches the conversations I have and the experiences that I have with others. It’s totally win-win. And hey, if I can help someone to connect more to their own sense of spirituality then I am happy to give this amazing gift.
Because the spiritual path will give you a sense of power that you have never known. Learn to trust in the universe and you will never un-learn it… and you will never regret it.
